MAT 2025 Exam Date: AIMA has announced the MAT 2025 September session exam dates, with the registration process now open. Candidates can complete the 2025 MAT application form by logging into the official portal. The September phase will include two test sessions: a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and a Paper-Based Test (PBT). More than 800 MBA colleges across India accept MAT scores for admission. Applicants have the flexibility to take MAT in different sessions and formats. Any graduate, as well as students in the final year of their undergraduate degree, are eligible to apply for the MAT exam.

Documents Required for MAT Registration 2025
Eligible candidates must have the documents listed below ready before starting the registration process.
- Valid Email ID
- Scanned image of photograph (10 to 50 kb)
- Scanned image of signature (5 to 20 kb)
- Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) or Net Banking details
MAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below to appear in MAT exam.
- Candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university or institute. Professional degrees, such as CA, CS, or ICWA, are also accepted.
- Final-year graduation students who are awaiting their results can apply provisionally but must submit their passing certificate during the admission process.
- AIMA requires no minimum percentage to appear for MAT. Candidates only need to have passed their graduation. However, many colleges that accept MAT scores require at least 50% marks for the general category and 45% for reserved categories.
- There is no age limit to appear for the exam; candidates typically are 20 years or older due to graduation requirements.
- Work experience is not mandatory to appear for the MAT, but it may provide extra weightage in the admission process at some MBA institutes.
- Candidates can take the MAT exam multiple times as there is no limit on the number of attempts; the latest score is considered for admission purposes.
- MAT is conducted four times a year in three modes: Internet-Based Test (IBT), Computer-Based Test (CBT), and Paper-Based Test (PBT). Eligibility criteria are the same for all modes.
