BITS Pilani is spread over 328 acres. It is a well-known university for its great infrastructure containing almost all facilities like health center, classrooms, laboratories and computer labs, Cafeteria , Hostels , Indoor and Outdoor sports facilities, Staff rooms, Department rooms, Bank Facilities , Parking lot, and bus center for the students and staff, etc.
BITS Pilani facilities include an auditorium with a capacity of over 2000. It also provides huge grounds for cricket, a basketball court, rooms for cultural activities, a sports complex, eateries , a library, laboratories, etc.
Library:
The University has a well-maintained Library, which has a great infrastructure with a 24/7 Wi-Fi-enabled system, which helps students without facing any issues while accessing the books. It also has a rich collection of books. It also operates as an open-access system centrally for providing smooth accessibility to students. Its library has a seating capacity of around 1200+ students, which includes the Students Aid Fund section, laptops , and desktops for the differently-abled. The library of the University provides great opportunities to the students by providing various opportunities like internships opportunities etc.
Auditorium:
The University provides an Auditorium to the students, which is fully air-conditioned. It has an Auditorium with the latest facilities and modern features. Through this Auditorium, students will get hands-on experience in the field of various related seminars or programs and be able to visualize the real-life things in an easy way.
Laboratories:
The University provides various practical laboratories to the students under the programs of Engineering, Pharmacy, Science, and Business Administration. It has around 16+ research labs , labs with the latest facilities and modern features. Through these laboratories, students will get hands-on experience in the field of various related programs and be able to visualize the real-life things in an easy way.
IT Infrastructure:
The University provides IT infrastructure for students to have a smooth academic. It provides 700+ laptops, 450+ desktops, 14 computer labs, browsing centers, and an e-learning center in the Library for students from various departments to gain hands-on experience in every field. It provides wifi for the whole campus, which helps students to explore everything in the meantime.
Health Center:
The University also provides a Health Center which is located at a hygienic place of the University.it addresses the health or medical issues of the students and ensures to provide the best facilities. The University has highly qualified doctors; apart from that, the university also allows doctors from outside to help the students. It also provides medical insurance for the students .
Sports facilities:
The University also provides various sports facilities for students to relieve their stress from academics after academic activities. It provides opportunities in the field of sports, which includes extracurricular activities. It provides facilities for various types of sports, which are known as indoor and outdoor sports.
The University also provides a well-managed cricket ground which is spread across 1,80,000 square feet with five practice nets and various facilities. It also provides a football ground which is spread across 70,000 square feet and well-maintained basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts. As mentioned above, it provides indoor games like carrom, chess, and table tennis, etc.
It also provides a gym in an open area for students . It also allows students to use the swimming pool facilities at nearby stadiums by paying some fees.
Cafeteria:
BITS Pilani also provides a Cafeteria for students to have the best food after the hectic schedule of classes and labs. It provides one common cafeteria for the students and staff, and other canteens for students. The canteen has a well-maintained hygiene kitchen with a highly qualified chef and every time it uses fresh ingredients and items for the good taste and a healthy environment.
Bank:
The University provides Banks in the campus to help the students to have smooth transactions or banking facilities. It provides banks like SBI and ICICI. Students can visit these banks to have a better offline banking process for transactions or depositing the money, and students can avail facilities like ATM machines for offline cash for their needs.
Guest Room:
The University Provides Guest rooms for guests who will be visiting the college for various purposes. It will be provided for guests who visit the college during the college events like tech fests , seminars, annual cultural festivals , research programs etc. Those who are willing to stay in the guest room should book before at least a week or two weeks before through the college website.
