Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) offers a range of scholarships to support and encourage meritorious and deserving students. These include state government scholarships for Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, Denotified Communities, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes, as well as awards for high-performing students, girls, and children of teachers or ex-servicemen. In addition, central government and National Scholarship Portal (NSP) scholarships are available for students based on merit, financial need, region, and special categories such as differently-abled students. These scholarships aim to reduce financial barriers, promote academic excellence, and ensure that students at CIT can focus on their studies and holistic development.
