IIM Shillong cutoff for CAT 2025 remains highly competitive, as expected, being the seventh top IIM in India. For admission to the flagship MBA (PGPM) programme, candidates were shortlisted depending on their CAT scores, followed by the WAT and a PI. The minimum eligibility requirement for General category applicants under the CAT 2025 eligibility criteria is an overall cut-off of 90-92 percentile, 90th percentile in the VARC section and DILR section, and 90th percentile in the QA section.

 

Reserved categories are offered more relaxed criteria, with an overall percentile range of 50 to 75 percentiles for SC, ST, and PwD applicants. The final decision made by IIM Shillong is based on the composite score. The institute applies a two-cutoff mechanism: a minimal percentage eligibility percentile, used to shortlist candidates, and an actual high shortlisted percentile, used in preparing the final merit list.

IIM Shillong Cutoff 2024 Qualifying CAT Percentile

The IIM Shillong CAT Cutoff 2024 has been made public for MBA admissions. There are two kinds of Cutoffs that IIM Shillong sets out: the Qualifying CAT Cutoff and the Final CAT Cutoff. Candidates must meet a minimal Qualifying Cutoff to take the CAT final examination (WAT and PI). The final CAT cutoff for IIM Shillong is always higher compared to the qualifying cutoff. IIM Shillong Selection Criteria for PI Merit List Preparation

At IIM Shillong, the cut-off scores for both the Personal Interview (PI) and the Communication Proficiency (CP) differ within each category. The cut-off percentages for PI are as follows: 20% for DA and ST, 25% for SC, and 30% for EWS and other categories. The communication proficiency requirement is 20 per cent for DA and ST, 25 per cent for SC, and 30 per cent for EWS in addition to other categories. Given these considerations, the selection merit list is created.

IIM Shillong Work Experience Score Admission Criteria 2025

IIM Shillong scores are determined by the number of months of work experience completed. Not a single point is awarded to candidates who have less than a year of experience. The score for individuals with 12 to 18 months of experience is 6, while the score for those with 18 to 24 months of experience is 10.
