MANIT Bhopal is accepting applications for admission to the PhD program for the academic year 2024-25, and the deadline for submitting the completed application form is November 25, 2024. The written test and interview will take place on December 17, 2024 (for full-time candidates) and December 19, 2024 (for part-time/executive candidates). The results will be announced on December 23, 2024.

The Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, also known as NIT Bhopal, was founded in 1960. It is an Institute of National Significance. The Institute was founded to provide the greatest engineering education. The Institute offers programs in a number of specialisations for BTech, BPlan, BArch, MTech, MPlan, MCA, MBA, and PhD degrees. MANIT has inked Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with a number of national and international organisations, including DAUTO, Texas Instruments, Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd., DIDACTA Italia, ESIEE Paris, and Crompton Greaves, Bhopal, among others, to further engineering research.

MANIT Bhopal is a public technological university. It was designated as a National Institute of Technology in 2002, and an Institute of National Importance under the NIT Act of 2007. The NIT Council oversees the institute, which is entirely funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. MANIT Bhopal is an autonomous university ranked 80 in the engineering category by NIRF 2023. MANIT Bhopal offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate degrees. MANIT Bhopal offers a variety of degree programs, including BTech, MTech, MCA, MSc, MBA, and PhD. National-level exams, like JEE Mains, GATE , and CAT , are used to determine admission to all degrees. MANIT Bhopal offers nine BTech and 34 MTech specialisations.

NIT Bhopal entrance to several UG (B.Tech, B.Plan, B.Arch) and PG courses (MBA, MCA, M.Tech, and M.Plan), as well as research programs (Ph.D), is based on national level exams accepted by the institute. • Payment of the processing fee of INR 1000 (for General/OBC/EWS applicants) and INR 500 (for SC/ST/PWD candidates) must be either online or by demand draft to the Director of MANIT, Bhopal.
• Candidates must provide a hard copy of their completed application via fast post or registered post by the deadline.

One Student, One Job: Each student who qualifies for campus recruitment may only hold one job. Once a student is engaged by a corporation, he cannot change occupations.

Dream Status Policy: The Institute will grant Dream Status to selected firms based on their market status and student profile. The Training & Placement Officer alone assesses whether the organisation is eligible for Dream Statuses.

Public sector enterprises: If a student gets accepted into a PSU, he or she is ineligible to work for any other company, regardless of its classification.

MANIT Bhopal Internships and Scholarships

The Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) in Bhopal provides financial aid and scholarships to deserving students. Some of the scholarships available include the National Merit Scholarship, the National Fellowship for Students from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, the Institute Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, the Central Sector Scholarship Program for College and University Students, the State Merit Scholarship, and the Merit Scholarship for Students with Physical Disabilities.

For undergraduate students, eligibility for an internship begins after the sixth semester, with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 and no backlog. Up to 10% of the class may be eligible for an internship. Any additional expansion will only be considered with the approval of the appropriate Senate Chairman and will not exceed 15% of the class strength. Because the B.Arch curriculum currently includes a one-semester internship in the final year, only B.Tech/B. Plan students will be eligible for the internship. The steps to recommend: Applying for an internship should be done through the appropriate HOD.

PG students who have completed two semesters of school are eligible for internships. The applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 7.5. The candidate should give an overview of the suggested work that will be accomplished throughout the internship program. The department committee would study or evaluate the synopsis to ensure that the proposed work is comparable to the M.Tech dissertation work. Before the candidate is dismissed, the dissertation work must be given to the department. When applying for an internship, it is also recommended that you contact the relevant HOD.

MANIT Bhopal Facilities

The Institute is located in the heart of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh's state capital, and covers an area of 650 acres. The Institute, previously known as Maulana Azad College of Technology, was established as one of the country's original eight Regional Engineering Colleges. The Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology was designated a Institution of National Importance by the Parliamentary NITSER Act 2007 in June 2002, and it was also elevated to the status of a Deemed University and given a new name. MANIT's campus is well-equipped, with housing for teachers and staff, administrative and institutional facilities, workshops, an energy centre, a computer centre, a library, and a learning resource centre. The MANIT hostels can accommodate 4,000 boys and 1,150 girls.
