BSc Medical Admission Process 2025

As the majority of the institutions offer direct admission to BSc Medical courses, the admission process is also very simple and hassle-free, involving a mere few simple steps.

 

For reference, provided below is the step-by-step admission process for BSc Medical through CUCET at Chandigarh University:

  • Step 1: The first step is that candidates enroll for CUCET through the Chandigarh University portal. Aspirants must register or sign up for CUCET with minimal details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your Email ID will be your Username for the portal whereas the password will be auto-generated by you during registration.
  • Step 2: Post successful registration, the candidates must log in to their account in order to proceed with the process of filling out the application form of CUCET.
  • Step 3: Candidates must fill out their personal details such as date of birth, age, birth place, etc., and educational details along with supporting documentary proof like Aadhar card, 12th and 10th mark sheets, etc.
  • Step 4: After step 3, the candidates have to select their preferred course to study. In this regard, it will be BSc Medical and pay a non-refundable CUCET application fee of INR 1,000 to finalize and submit the application.
  • Step 5: Candidates after submitting applications are required to take the CUCET entrance exam and wait for results. All the candidates who clear the test with a minimum of 30% marks will then be considered eligible for admission to the courses taught in the University. The candidates whose names are in the merit list will be notified via email.
