B.Pharm+MBA FAQs

Can I get admission for B.Pharm + MBA without an entrance examination?

No. There is no option of direct admission for the B.Pharm + MBA integrated program without appearing entrance examination. You must appear for an institute-specific entrance examination after the 10+2 board examination or need to sit for NEET or MHT-CET. You have to get the minimum cut-off percentage as specified by the university while applying for the course.

Is the B.Pharm+MBA integrated program equivalent to separate B.Pharm (4 years) and MBA (2 years) programs?

Yes. The B.Pharm+MBA integrated program is equivalent to the course if you have taken it separately. If you complete a 4-year B.Pharm course and then go for a 2-year MBA program, it will take 6 years of study in total, whereas a B.Pharm+MBA will be completed within 5 years. However, you must pursue this course from a recognized university.

Should I appear for CAT/MAT/XAT for MBA while pursuing the B.Pharm+MBA integrated program?

No. You do not need to appear for CAT/XAT/MAT after completing the B.Pharm program for enrolling MBA, as you have already taken admission for a 5-year integrated program that will offer you a bachelor's as well as a postgraduate degree at the end.

Is there any government college in India that offers a B. Pharm+MBA integrated program ?

No. There is no government college offering B.Pharm+MBA integrated courses in India till now.
