MP BSc Agriculture Admission

BSc Agriculture is a four-year undergraduate course that focuses on providing the core concepts of agriculture and its technological aspects. The Madhya Pradesh Employee Selection Board (MPESB) conducts the MP PAT, a state-level entrance exam for Agriculture. The MPPAT is a primary examination that students take to gain admission to undergraduate agriculture programs like the B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Horticulture, B.Sc. Government and private colleges in the state offer programs in forestry and Agricultural Engineering. 

The candidates who have completed their 10+2 education, which includes subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics, or Agriculture/Forestry as one of the subjects, will be eligible to enroll in the BSc Agriculture colleges in MP. Following the examination, eligible candidates participate in an online counselling process conducted by JNKVV, Jabalpur, where seats are allocated based on merit. 

Various colleges accept applications based on the score of MPPAT, such as JNKV V, RKDF University, SAGE University, and several other colleges. The candidates, after completing this course, will be eligible to enter multiple industries in the roles, including Agricultural Officer, Farm Manager, Agriculture Technology Officer, etc.

MP BSc Agriculture Eligibility Criteria

The candidates need to fulfill the eligibility requirements set by the colleges that offer the BSc Agriculture. The eligibility criteria for most colleges are almost similar, however, some eligibility requirements can vary based on the qualification, minimum mark requirements, etc. The detailed eligibility criteria that the candidates need to fulfill are as follows:

• The candidates need to complete their 12th standard from a recognized university with the Science stream, having Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as subjects.
• The candidates need to score a minimum mark of 50% to 60% in their 12th standard. 
• Along with fulfilling the above eligibility criteria, the candidates need to appear for the entrance examinations, either at the national level or the university level. This eligibility criterion can vary with the colleges that the candidates are applying to. 

MP BSc Agriculture Entrance Exams

The candidates need to appear for the entrance exams to enroll in the BSc Agriculture course in the colleges of MP. The entrance exam that candidates need to appear for the entrance exams, including the MPPAT, SEE, etc. 

National Level Exams

State Level Exams

Some universities in MP, including RDKF University, accept applications based on the state-level examination conducted by the State agriculture department.

University Level Exams

A university such as SAGE University conducts its entrance examination, SAGE Entrance Exam (SEE). The candidates who miss the chance to appear for the national level entrance exam can appear for the SEE and take admission in the university. 

MP BSc Agriculture Admission Process

Most colleges of Madhya Pradesh accept applications based on the entrance exams and follow a common admission process. The candidates need to follow a simple admission process to enroll in the colleges. The admission process for the BSc Agriculture course at RKDF University is as follows:

Step 1: The candidates need to start by visiting the official website of the MP Employee Selection Board to register for the entrance exam. 

Step 2: The candidates need to complete the registration process for the MPPAT exam by paying the application fee.

Step 3: The candidates need to appear for the entrance exam and wait for the results. 

Step 4: Once the results are declared, the candidates are required to download the scorecard for further processing. 

Step 6: The candidates need to visit the official website of the RDKF University to apply for the course.

Step 7: The candidates are required to register themselves. 

Step 8: The candidates are required to enter the details, including educational details, personal details, etc. 

Step 9: Now, the candidates need to upload a scanned copy of the documents required. 

Step 10: Next, the candidates need to submit the application form.

Step 11: The university will release the merit list of the selected candidates, and the selected candidates will be called for the counselling process and interview. 

Step 12: The candidates, if selected, will be required to visit the campus for the document verification and counselling process.
