B.Sc (Hons.) Mathematics is an undergraduate degree with a duration of 3 years (or 4 years in some universities). This field explores different concepts of mathematics. This involves different theories and practical information. It improves student’s skills such as problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking. Students get to learn about topics like calculus, algebra, probability, statistics, differential equations, and many more.

Applicants must have a 10+2 certificate with core subjects in math, physics, and chemistry, and an overall grade point average of 60% in these disciplines in order to apply for B.Sc (Hons.) Mathematics. Some private colleges only accept 50 to 60 percent, while others have higher cut-off scores according to their regulations. According to government guidelines, the SC, ST, OBC, and PwD reserved categories receive a 5–6% relaxation.
