BSc Animation & Multimedia Syllabus: Core and Elective Subjects

BSc Animation & Multimedia is a three-year undergraduate course designed to instill students with the artistic as well as technical competencies required in fast-growing fields of animation, visual effects, games, and digital media. The curriculum is a judicious combination of theoretical knowledge and practical training, with intense exposure to drawing, narration, 2D/3D animation, VFX, game design, UI/UX, and digital production techniques.

 

The 6-semester course changes from basic elementary art and design to contemporary animation workflows and project-based industry applicability. It also focuses on working labs, elective specializations, and the creation of a portfolio. The course offers a platform for students to pursue different career opportunities at animation studios, game development companies, advertising companies, and multimedia production houses.
