On February 6, 2025, IIT Bombay will disclose the cut-off marks for Part A of the CEED. The cut-offs will be given as mean and standard deviations. The average and standard deviation for Part A (CEED 2024) were 41.90 and 16.72, respectively. The Part A cut-off, also known as qualifying marks, is the minimum score required to be shortlisted. Note that the Part B answer sheet will only be considered if the candidate meets the Part A cut-off.

Additionally, all shortlisted candidates are given a CEED merit rank. It is important to note that the Part A cut-off does not correspond to the admission cut-off. The admission cut-off is the minimal score or rank required for admission to the M.Des program. IIT Bombay will hold the CEED 2025 test on January 19, 2025. The results will be announced on March 5, 2025.
