According to the students’ reactions, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate to difficult, predictable in structure, and similar to last year in most sections. English, Legal Reasoning, and GK were comfortable for the candidates who prepared well for the exam. However, many students reported that Arithmetical Reasoning dominated the Logical Reasoning section, making it more time-consuming than expected. CLAT 2025 Exam Analysis
In CLAT 2025, there were five sections, which included the English Language, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning. English was easy with 24 questions and 4 passages. Current Affairs contained 28 questions out of 5 passages, which was also easy. Legal Reasoning consisted of 32 questions out of 6 passages and was not tough. The moderate difficulty came in the way of Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques, with 24 and 12 questions, respectively. CLAT 2025 UG exam has 120 questions to be answered in 2 hours. It tests English, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. Each correct answer gives 1 mark, while each wrong answer deducts 0.25 marks. CLAT 2026 PG Question Format
The CLAT 2026 Postgraduate examination consists of 120 multiple-choice questions that are supposed to be answered within 2 hours. The score of each correct answer is 1 mark, and 0.25 marks will be subtracted in case of a wrong answer. The paper primarily examines the Constitutional Law and other valuable subjects of law, such as Criminal Law, Contract Law, Torts, Family Law, Company Law, Tax Law, Environmental Law, and Labour Law. CLAT 2025 CutOffs: Round 1 for General, OBC, SC, ST and EWS
The CLAT 2025 Round 1 cutoffs indicate the closing ranks of the various NLUs and categories. These are the last rankings in which the candidates were admitted to the BA LLB and BBA/LLB programs.
