The NEET UG 2026 response sheets were released on July 13, 2026, as scanned images of the OMR Answer Sheet, for candidates who had appeared for the Re-NEET UG 2026 exam on June 21, 2026. The recorded responses for NEET UG 2026 can be downloaded by using your Application Number and Password. Candidates could also challenge their responses from July 13 to July 15, 2026, till 11 AM, by paying a professing fee of INR 200 for each response challenge (non-refundable). The NEET 2026 provisional answer key was released on June 25, 2026, on the official website. The Re-NEET 2026 provisional answer key challenge window was open from June 25 to June 28, 2026. A non-refundable fee of INR 200 per question was applicable for each challenge, and all objections were to be submitted online within the specified deadline.

Re NEET UG 2026 Result

The NEET UG results 2026 have been released on July 16, 2026, on the official website of the NTA at neet.nta.nic.in, along with the scorecards, final answer key, category-wise cutoffs, and toppers list. Go to the NTA NEET official website, click on the link that says “Score Card for NEET (UG) – 2026” and enter your Application Number and Password to download your scorecard.

• 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for the NEET UG 2026 re-exam.
• The highest score is 715 out of 720, which has been jointly secured by Aryan Gupta of Punjab and Panshul Bansal of Haryana.
• 19 candidates scored more than 700 marks.
• 1,492 candidates scored 650 marks and higher.
• 10,160 candidates scored 600 marks and above.
• 90,780 candidates scored 500 marks and above.
• 93 per cent of the top 138 performers appeared for NEET for the first time. Their age typically ranged from 17 and 19 years.

What is NEET?

NEET Full Form is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), conducted for admission to the undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, veterinary and selected nursing programmes offered in colleges across India. Changes Made in NEET Re-Exam 2026

• New official website: The NEET UG 2026 official website is now www.neet.nta.nic.in, replacing last year’s www.neet.ntaonline.in.
• APAAR ID introduced: Students can use their APAAR ID during registration to automatically fill in academic details, but it is not compulsory.
• Tie-breaking rules updated: If all other criteria fail, tie-breaking will now be done using a random method guided by an expert committee.
• Fewer exam cities in India: The number of exam cities in India has been reduced from 557 to 551. Six cities have been removed from the list.
