NIFT Result 2025 will be declared tentatively in March 2025. The exact date of the NIFT 2025 result has not been shared by the NTA. The direct link to check NIFT 2025 results will be provided here. Candidates will have to log in to the result portal using their application number, date of birth, and security code, to download their scorecard.
Candidates who qualify for the written exams (GAT and CAT) have to appear in a Situation Test/ Personal Interview (PI). The FINAL results of the NIFT 2025 exam will be prepared by giving weightage to the written exams and Situation Test (PI). The NIFT 2025 written exam was held on February 9, 2025.

Step-wise process to check NIFT 2025 results
Considering the NIFT 2025 exam is conducted by the NTA, the result log-in window will be available on its website. Here is how you can check NIFT results.
- Go to the NTA NIFT website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/
- Click on the result link
- Enter your application number, date of birth (or password), and security pin.
- On successful login, the result will be displayed on the screen
NIFT 2025 Result - Benefit marks for wrong questions
The NTA will release the answer key and question paper of NIFT 2025 after the conclusion of the written exam.
- If a question asked in the NIFT 2025 exam, for any reason, is found to be wrong, then the benefit of marks will be given to only those candidates who attempted the question. On examining the challenges by the subject experts, if it is found that along with the original answer key one more option(s) is correct, then marks will be awarded to all those candidates who have attempted any one of the correct options.
- No grievances/ representation about Answer Key(s) will be entertained after NIFT 2025 results are declared.
- The NIFT 2025 Final answer keys will be released in April 2025.

NIFT 2025 Topper List and Exam Statistics
The NTA may release the list of NIFT 2025 toppers soon after NIFT 2025 results are declared. The topper list will include details like the name of the candidate, their All India Rank (AIR), marks, and other important details, like place of residence. In addition, NTA is also expected to release detailed exam statistics, including the number of appeared, registered, and qualified candidates in NIFT 2025.

NIFT Entrance Exam 2025 Tie-Breaker Policy
If two or more candidates score the same marks, then the merit ranks will be determined based on the following tie-break criteria.
- The marks scored by the candidate in tests with higher weightage will be considered to break the tie. For instance, for the B.Des program, marks obtained in the CAT exam will be compared to break the tie.
- If the marks obtained in the CAT are equal, then marks obtained in GAT will be considered.
- If the tie is still undecided at this stage, then marks obtained subject-wise in the following order will be considered: Communication Ability, English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability,
Analytical Ability &General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
NIFT 2025 Final Results
NTA will declare the FINAL results of NIFT 2025 in May 2025.
For the B.F.Tech program, only GAT exam scores will be considered for preparing the final results. The final results of the B.Des program will be prepared by giving weightage to the GAT, CAT, and Situation Test.
On the other hand, the NIFT 2024 final result of the M.Des program will be prepared by giving weightage to GAT, CAT, and Interview.
Meanwhile, the final results for the M.F.Tech and M.F.M programs are prepared by considering GAT and Interview performance.

When will NIFT results 2025 be declared?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the results of the NIFT 2025 written exam sometime in March 2025.
What details will be mentioned in the NIFT 2025 result?
The result will include details like the name, roll number, and signature of the candidate. Importantly, it will contain the sectional and overall scores, merit rank of the candidate, and the qualifying status.
When will NIFT 2025 results be released for the written exam?
The NIFT 2025 written exam is the 1st stage of the entrance exam and includes the CAT and GAT. The results for the NIFT 2025 written exam will be announced sometime in the 2nd week of March 2025. How will NIFT final results be prepared for Masters courses?
The National Institute of Fashion Technology offers M.Des MFM and M.FTech courses at its 18 campuses. Admission to these courses are on the basis of NIFT 2025 merit ranks. The final merit rank of NIFT 2025 for the M.Des programme will be prepared by giving weightage to CAT (40%), CAT (30%), and Interview (30%). In case of the M.FTech and MFM courses, the GAT carries 70% weightage, while the Interview carries 30% weightage. Note that MFM and M.FTech candidates don't need to take the CAT Test.
Can I apply for a recheck of NIFT results?
Typically there is no option to apply for recheck of NIFT 2025 results. However, if the candidate has any doubts, they are allowed to challenge the answer key. Note that the NIFT answer keys for GAT paper of the written exam will be released sometime in April 2025.
