UCEED Registration 2027: Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Fees, How to Apply

UCEED 2027 Registration is expected to open on October 1, 2026, at the official portal uceed.iitb.ac.in. IIT Bombay will release the UCEED 2027 notification on the same date. Candidates can submit their applications without late fees until the first week of November 2026. A short late-fee window is expected to remain open until the second week of November 2026.

The UCEED 2027 exam date is Sunday, January 17, 2027, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This date has been officially confirmed by IIT Bombay on the UCEED portal. The exam is a national-level entrance test for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, IIT Indore, and IIITDM Jabalpur.

The UCEED 2027 registration fee is expected to be INR 2,000 for female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and INR 4,000 for all other Indian candidates. The application fee is non-refundable. Only candidates who complete both the application form and fee payment before the deadline will be considered registered for UCEED 2027.

UCEED 2027 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the UCEED 2027 application form, candidates must carefully check whether they meet all eligibility conditions set by IIT Bombay. Candidates who do not meet the UCEED 2027 eligibility criteria will be disqualified even after completing registration and appearing for the exam. The eligibility conditions cover age, academic qualification, stream of study, and examination attempts.

For UCEED 2027, the candidate must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent exam in 2026 or 2027 from any recognised board. Candidates who appeared for the qualifying exam in 2025 or earlier are not eligible. All streams including Science, Commerce, and Arts and Humanities are eligible.

Reservation is provided to candidates from EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD categories as per the Government of India norms. A 5-year age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

UCEED 2027 Registration Fees

The UCEED 2027 registration fee is expected to remain the same as UCEED 2026. The fee varies based on the candidate's category and nationality. Candidates must pay the fee online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking. The payment gateway will generate a confirmation receipt after a successful transaction.

Candidates must complete the application form in full before making the payment, as the fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. Partial payment or failed transactions will result in an incomplete registration.

UCEED 2027 Registration Process

The UCEED 2027 registration will be conducted entirely online through the official website uceed.iitb.ac.in. The UCEED registration 2027 is an online process. The registration window is expected to open on October 1, 2026, and remain active until November 5, 2026, without late fees.

Candidates must complete all steps of the registration process before the last date. Incomplete applications where the fee has not been paid will not be considered valid. The entire process is expected to take 30 to 45 minutes to complete.

How to Fill UCEED 2027 Application Form?

Candidates can follow the step-by-step process below to complete UCEED 2027 registration:

1. Visit the official UCEED 2027 website at uceed.iitb.ac.in and click on the Registration link.
2. Enter your email ID, name, date of birth, gender, and mobile number to create a new account.
3. Create and confirm a password to complete account creation. An activation link will be sent to your registered email ID.
4. Click the activation link in your email to verify your account.
5. Log in using your registered email ID and password.
6. Fill in details such as birth category, EWS status, PwD status, and contact information.
7. Provide accurate information about your Class 12 or equivalent exam, including passing year, board name, school name, and address.
8. Choose up to three preferred test cities in order of priority.
9. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and all required certificates in the prescribed format and size.
10. Pay the application fee online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
11. Download and save the payment confirmation and application form for future reference.

After successful payment, a confirmation receipt is generated automatically. Candidates must download and save this receipt. No physical copy of the application form will be accepted.

Required Documents for UCEED 2027 Registration

Candidates must keep scanned copies of all required documents ready before starting the UCEED 2027 registration process. All documents must be in the prescribed format and within the specified file size limits. Incorrect or incomplete document uploads can lead to rejection of the application.

Candidates under the Dyslexic category must submit FORM-DYSLEXIC 1 and 2 instead of a standard PwD certificate. All uploaded documents will be verified by the authorities. Providing false documents or incorrect information will result in immediate cancellation of candidature.

UCEED 2027 Admit Card

IIT Bombay will issue the UCEED admit card 2027 tentatively two weeks before the exam. Based on the UCEED 2026 pattern, the UCEED 2027 admit card is expected to be released on January 2, 2027 (tentative). Candidates who complete the registration process successfully will be able to download the admit card through their login at uceed.iitb.ac.in.

The UCEED 2027 admit card will contain the following details:

• Candidate's name and photograph
• Application number
• Exam date and time
• Exam centre name and address
• Reporting time
• Exam-day guidelines and instructions
• List of documents to carry to the exam centre

Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID on the UCEED 2027 exam day, January 17, 2027. Digital copies on mobile phones or tablets will not be accepted at the exam centre. Candidates are advised to print at least two copies of the admit card.

If any discrepancy is found in the admit card details, candidates must immediately contact the UCEED helpdesk through the official website. Errors must be reported before the exam day.

UCEED 2027 Exam Centres

Candidates appearing for UCEED 2027 must select their preferred exam centres while filling out the application form. They can choose a maximum of three cities in order of priority. The final exam centre will be allotted by IIT Bombay and will be mentioned on the UCEED 2027 admit card. Requests to change the exam centre after submission of the application form will not be entertained.

Only UCEED 2027-qualified students can apply for admission to the B.Des program at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur. The exam is expected to be conducted in approximately 27 cities across India, similar to UCEED 2026. Candidates are advised to select UCEED 2027 exam centres closest to their residence to avoid travel-related difficulties on the exam day.

Candidates in cities not listed above should choose the nearest available city as their first preference. The final list of UCEED 2027 exam cities will be published in the official UCEED 2027 notification on October 1, 2026.
