UCEED 2026 Tie-Breaking Policy

If two or more candidates score the same marks in UCEED 2026, a tie-breaker policy will be applied to decide the rank. First, the marks in Part B will be compared. The Tie-Breaker Policy for UCEED 2026 is as follows:

• Candidates with higher marks in Part B will be given a higher rank.
• If still tied, candidates with higher marks in Section 2 of Part A will be ranked higher.
• If the tie continues, candidates with higher marks in Section 1 of Part A will be ranked higher.
• If the tie remains even after this, candidates will be assigned the same rank.

UCEED 2026 Rank List

The UCEED 2026 rank list is prepared based on the combined marks of Part A and Part B. Only candidates who meet the minimum qualifying marks in each section and overall are included in the rank list. All shortlisted candidates receive a common merit rank (AIR). The UCEED Committee may adjust the minimum marks to ensure an adequate number of candidates in the list. If the total mark is the same for 2 or more applicants, then the applicant with the higher mark in Part B will get a higher rank. In case of tie, candidate with higher marks in Part A (Section 2) will get higher rank. Moreover, if above criteria do not break the tie, then candidate with higher mark in Part A (Section 1) will get higher rank.
