UCEED 2026 Exam Centers: Result-Sharing Institutes (Updated), Exam Date, Allowed & Prohibited Items

The UCEED 2026 exam was conducted by IIT Bombay in 27 cities across India. Candidates could choose their preferred exam city while filling out the application form, but requests to change the city were not allowed. The admit card, released on 2 January 2026, showed the name and address of the exam centre, reporting time, and rules about items allowed or not allowed inside the exam hall.

The exam was held on 18 January 2026, from 9 AM to 12 Noon. On the day of the exam, candidates were advised to reach the centre on time as per the reporting time on the admit card. To enter the exam hall, students had to carry the admit card and a valid photo ID.

How to Choose the UCEED 2026 Exam Center?

While filling out the UCEED 2026 application form, candidates must select their preferred exam centers carefully. It is compulsory to choose three cities in order of preference. The first choice should be the most convenient city, followed by the second and third options. Once the registration is submitted, no request for changing the selected exam center will be entertained. If a city has fewer applicants, it may be removed, and candidates will be allotted their second or third preference. The UCI Committee also holds the right to add or remove exam centers depending on operational requirements.

Steps to Choose the UCEED 2026 Exam Center

1. Visit the official UCEED 2026 registration portal and log in.
2. Fill in personal and academic details as required in the application form.
3. Go to the exam center preference section.
4. Select three cities in the order of preference for the UCEED 2026 exam center.
5. Review the choices carefully before final submission.
6. Submit the form, as changes in exam center preferences will not be allowed later.

UCEED 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates appearing for UCEED 2026 must report on time and carry all required documents. Identity verification will be done at the center, and no requests for a change of exam center will be entertained. Test takers are advised to follow the given instructions below on the UCEED 2026 Exam Day.

• Report to the exam center by 7 AM on the exam day.
• Carry a hardcopy of the admit card and a valid photo ID proof.

Prohibited Items at UCEED 2026 Exam Center
