UCEED Exam Centres 2027: City List, Choice Order, Allotment and Exam Day Rules

UCEED Exam Centres 2027 Allotment Rules

IIT Bombay does not guarantee allotment of the first-choice city. The authority can drop a listed city if it does not receive enough candidates. In that situation, candidates can receive a centre in their second or third preferred city. The UCI Committee can add a new city or remove an existing city for operational reasons. It can even allot a city that does not appear among the three preferences selected by a candidate.

The city selected during registration and the final examination centre are not the same thing. Registration records the candidate's preferred cities, but IIT Bombay later assigns the examination centre. Candidates should check the allotted centre after the admit card becomes available and should not make travel arrangements based only on their first preference.

UCEED Exam Centres 2027 and Admit Card

The admit card will provide the final examination centre details. IIT Bombay will start UCEED Admit Card 2027 downloads on January 1, 2027, at 1 PM. The admit card will contain the candidate's name, registration ID, roll number, date of birth, category, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination centre details and instructions. Candidates must check these details after downloading the document.

Candidates must report any discrepancy by January 8, 2027, at 5 PM. A printed copy of the downloaded admit card is mandatory for entry to the examination centre. Candidates can refer to the UCEED Admit Card 2027 for download steps, discrepancy reporting and exam-day requirements.

Documents Required at UCEED Exam Centres 2027

Items Not Allowed at UCEED Exam Centres 2027

IIT Bombay restricts electronic devices and several other materials inside the examination hall. Note: Candidates should bring their own pencils in a transparent packet. IIT Bombay permits shades of black colour but does not permit sketch pens, colour pencils, poster colours or other colouring materials. The centre will not provide drawing stationery. How to Reach UCEED Exam Centres 2027

Candidates should check the exact examination centre address after downloading the admit card. The centre address may differ from the city selected during registration. Candidates travelling from another city should plan their journey around the 7 AM reporting window. Reaching the examination city a day before the test can reduce travel pressure on the morning of the examination.

Candidates should check the route, estimated travel time and local transport options before exam day. They should keep the admit card and original photo ID ready the previous evening.
