Colleges Accepting XAT Score 2027

The XAT 2027 score is accepted by more than 250 B-schools across India for admission to MBA/ PGDM programmes. Some of the top MBA colleges including XLRI – Xavier School of Management, XIM University, IMT Ghaziabad, etc. accept XAT scores.

Candidates should note that acceptance of the XAT score does not necessarily mean automatic consideration for admission. Each institute has its own application process, eligibility requirements, cutoff and selection criteria. Candidates should therefore check the admission requirements of their preferred B-school before applying. Some of the top institutes that accept XAT scores are listed below:

Check XAT Accepting Colleges for more details!

XAT Cutoff 2027

The XAT cutoff refers to the minimum XAT score or percentile required by a participating B-school for shortlisting candidates for the next stage of its admission process. There is no single cutoff applicable to all XAT-accepting colleges. Each institute determines its own cutoff based on its admission policy, programme and selection criteria.

For example. The cutoff for Business Management (BM) program at XLRI Jamshedpur is 91-96 percentile while the cutoff for Human Resource Management (HRM) is 90-95 percentile.

For XLRI, the XAT score is an important component of the selection process. However, XLRI considers other factors along with XAT performance while preparing the final selection list, including academic ability, relevant work experience, extracurricular activities and performance in the interview/ GD process.

Candidates should therefore check the programme-specific cutoff and admission criteria of the B-school they wish to apply to rather than relying on a common XAT cutoff. Check XAT cutoff for more details.

XAT Counselling 2027

There is no centralised counselling process for XAT 2027. XAT is a common entrance examination, but each participating B-school has its own admission process and selection criteria. Candidates must apply separately to the programmes of the institutes they wish to join.

After the XAT result is announced, participating institutes shortlist candidates based on their XAT performance and other admission criteria. Shortlisted candidates are then required to participate in further selection rounds such as personal interviews, group discussions or other institute-specific assessment processes. The final admission decision is made by the respective institute.

For XLRI, candidates are shortlisted for the interview stage based on the institute's selection criteria. XLRI considers factors such as XAT performance, academic ability, relevant work experience, extracurricular activities and performance in interviews/group discussions, depending on the programme.
