Here are the steps you can follow to apply for pursuing Guru Nanak Dev University online degree BA:

• Step 1: Access the UGC DEB portal: https://deb.ugc.ac.in/StudentDeBID and generate your ABC ID.
• Step 2: Fill in your ABC ID on the respective portal to get your DEB ID.
• Step 3: Go to https://collegeadmissions.gndu.ac.in/loginNew.aspx. Then enter your basic details to generate your unique login ID and password. These will be sent through SMS/e-mail.
• Step 4: Go to http://online.gndu.ac.in > Admissions > Open & Distance Admissions and enter the necessary details in the online application form. Online payment of the registration fee:

1. ₹500/- (General Category)
2. ₹250/- (SC/ST Category) Enter your Aadhaar details (compulsory).

• Step 6:  Submit the required fees and print out the application.
• Step 7: You can approach either the Directorate office or the selected college on the spot for on-the-spot admission or centralized counselling along with the supporting documents:

1. A printed copy of the online application form
2. Counseling Proforma
3. Two passport-size photographs
4. Original set of all DMCS, degree (10th, 12th, Graduation (if applicable), post Graduation (if applicable) and one set of Photocopy as per eligibility criteria
5. Matriculation or equivalent examination certificate testifying to date of birth;
6. Detailed mark card of the qualifying examination.
7. Two recent passport-size photographs. Photographs should be pasted on the form with glue (Please DO NOT use staple pins).
8. Reservation certificate, wherever applicable
9. Residence certificat,e wherever applicable.
10. Copy of Aadhaar Card
11. Any other documents (wherever applicable)

Important Note for Existing GNDU Students

Students who were earlier enrolled with GNDU MUST use their previous login ID and password. Getting a new ID will cost a fine. To recover the login ID, personally contact the Directorate or send an email.
