• The evaluation pattern for PGD (Big Data Analytics) at VTU comprises Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) with 30% weightage and Semester End Exam (SEE) having 70% weightage.

• The minimum passing marks of CIE and SEE are 50% of the maximum marks in CIE and SEE, respectively.

• The student shall be deemed to have passed only if he/she has secured not less than 50% of the sum total of the CIE and SEE taken together.

• CIE comprises 30 objective-type questions from all modules with equal weightage distribution.
• The SEE paper will be for 70 marks and have 3 sections:

Section A consists of 20 objective-type questions, carrying 1 mark each.
