Eligibility for B.E./B.Tech requires completion of 10+2 with PCM and participation in TNEA counselling. PG admission (M.E./M.Tech, MBA, MCA) is based on graduation and GATE/TANCET scores via TANCA. Entrance Exams:

• B.E./B.Tech: Admissions via TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) single-window counselling, conducted by Anna University based on normalised PCM marks.
• M.E./M.Tech: Through TANCET or valid GATE scores, followed by TANCA counselling.
• MBA/MCA: Based on TANCET scores, also through TANCA counselling.
• M.Sc & Integrated M.Sc: Entrance exam administered by Anna University, followed by merit-based admission and counselling.
• Ph.D. Programs: Require a Master’s degree (≥ 55 %) and admission via a written entrance test and interview at the department level.

Application Process:

1. Visit the Official Portal
   • UG candidates register via the TNEA portal.
   • PG aspirants apply through the TANCET application portal, while M.Tech/GATE candidates submit GATE scores.
   • Ph.D. candidates register via the Anna University Ph.D. portal.
2. Create Account & Upload Documents
   • Provide personal and academic details.
   • Upload a passport-size photo, 10th/12th/senior-qualification mark sheets, entrance exam scorecard, community certificate (if applicable), and ID proof.
3. Pay Application Fee
   • UG (B.E./B.Tech): typically INR 800.
   • PG (M.Sc/M.E/M.Tech/MBA/MCA): range from INR 1,000–INR 1,800.
   • Ph.D.: as prescribed by the department.

Selection Process:

UG (B.E./B.Tech)

• Merit list based on normalised PCM marks.

Confirmation of Allotment:

Candidates receive provisional seat allotment from Anna University based on rank, scores, and preferences. At the designated CEG reporting centre, applicants must present original documents and certificates. Payment of the admission fee (as per program guidelines) confirms the seat.
