In accordance with 12(B) of the UGC Act of 1956, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) was established by the Haryana State Legislature Act No. 29 of 2006. Prior to becoming a university in 2006, it was known as Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering (1987-2006). The university has received a "A" grade from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the Indian Road Congress (IRC), and the International Road Federation (IRF), among other professional associations. The courses offered by DCRUST are UG, PG, and PhD.

The UGC has approved the university, and the NAAC has given it an "A" grade. With a 273-acre campus and state-of-the-art facilities and technology, DCRUST is a residential university. There are additionally seven student residences on the university campus, three for women and four for men. Undergraduate (UG), graduate (PG), and doctorate (Ph.D.) degree, diploma, and certificate programs are all offered by DCRUST. Known for its flagship BTech degree, DCRUST requires candidates to sit the JEE Main test. Other national entrance tests like GATE, CMAT, and NATA are also accepted by the institution for admission to degrees like M.Tech, MBA, and B.Arch.

DCRUST Sonepat Application Process 2025

Candidates can apply for admission to any of the Ph.D. specialities by filling out the application form. Since the information in such documents must be entered into the application, the candidate is advised to collect the required documentation before completing it. By following the given guidelines, the candidate can register for the admissions process on their own.

• Go to dcrustm.ac.in, the university's main website.
• Next, choose "UG/PG/Ph.D. Admissions."
• Now that the application form is open, carefully fill it out.
• A scanned copy of the photo in the jpeg format, ranging in size from 20 to 40 KB, must be provided in addition to a scanned copy of the signature, which should be between 10 and 20 KB in size.
• Once all the fields have been filled out, click "Submit."
• The candidate can now use a debit card, credit card, or net banking to make an online payment after being sent to the payment gateway.
• In Haryana, general category students (and others) must pay INR 1000 for registration, while SC candidates just need to pay INR 250.
• After paying, the applicant will receive a registration number and password that they can use to finish any further interaction.

DCRUST Sonepat Scholarship 2025

DCRUST provides students with a number of scholarships to help pay for their education. A synopsis of a few of the available scholarships is provided below:

• M Visvesvaraya Scholarship: For BTech/BArch students, the annual award rises to INR 40,000, or the actual tuition cost, whichever is lower. The amount rises if the actual annual tuition fee for an MBA is less than INR 20,000 per student.
• The annual amount of the AryaBhatta Research Scholarship for MTech is increased to INR 40,000 per student, or the actual tuition plus an additional 5,000 for boarding, housing, and other unforeseen costs, whichever is lower. A genuine GATE score is required of the candidate. Candidates must have completed BTech, Class 10, and Class 12 with a total GPA of 60%.
• Merit award: A merit award worth INR 600 per semester is available to 10% of the top students in each stream based on their performance on university exams.
• Scholarships offered by GATE to MTech students: Scholarships of INR 5,000 per student every month (available only to GATE-qualified applicants)
• A 5,000 Indian rupee annual contingency award for each program
• An yearly library grant of INR 10,000 for each program
• Chawla Kalpana Scholarship: Female students from Haryana State who rank in the top five on the admission exam are given scholarships of INR 2,000 per month for four years.

• Hostel: The hotel has superb facilities. Single and double rooms are the two types of lodging available at the hostel. Even while the dinner is of a decent quality, it is still inferior to the meals that are brought to your house. The hostel has moderate and affordable costs and requires registration through an internet site.
• DCRUST Shopping Complex: On campus, there is a shopping centre close to the residence halls and dorms. A department store, a photo studio, a xerox company, a stationery and book store, and a milk stand are all present. There is a State Bank of India branch with a post office and ATMs. The mall also has a café with grounds all around it.

• Library: The University Library is located in the Saraswati Library Complex, a four-story building that can accommodate 600 people and is a stunning blend of modern technology, green construction, and aesthetics.

The University Library subscribes to 160 printed Indian publications and has 74,863 books in its collection. In order to satisfy customer requests for leisure reading and current events, it also subscribes to 20 newspapers and 55 magazines.
