LLB degree in Karnataka offers students LLB for both 3-year and 5-year LLB, for which they must meet the requirements. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks for general category students and relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwD as per the university. There is no age limit for admission as per the Bar Council of India (BCI) guidelines. Final-year students may also apply, provided they can submit proof of completion during admission. Admission into LLB programs in Karnataka is primarily through entrance exams held at both the national level, such as CLAT, LSAT India, and CUET, and other university-specific exams like Christ University’s CULEE.

LLB Admission usually involves enrollment, completing application forms, sitting for entrance exams, and interviews or counseling. For example, Christ University prompts candidates to sit for the CULEE, then a personal interview. Document submission and payment of admission charges complete the process. The best law schools in Karnataka are Christ University (Bangalore), SDM Law College (Mangalore), KLE Society's Law College (Bangalore), and The Oxford College of Law (Bangalore), with fees around INR 85,000 to INR 3,30,000.
