MBA Financial Management Admission Process 2025

Admission to the MBA in Financial Management is based on the entrance exam scores, such as CAT/MAT/XAT, etc. Given below is the step-by-step admission process for the MBA in Financial Management at IIM Ahmedabad:

 

Step 1: Fill out the CAT application form on CAT's official website. Select IIM Ahmedabad judiciously as one of the choice schools while filling out the form.

 

Step 2: The CAT exam is to be attended on the scheduled date. The test examines the candidates on three fronts, i.e., Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability.

 

Step 3: Wait for the CAT results to be declared. The results will determine whether you meet IIM Calcutta’s minimum cut-off criteria. The cut-off may vary each year, so check the official IIM Calcutta website for updates.

 

Step 4: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for the Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) rounds if you have been selected. You will also need to fill in the application form specific to IIM Calcutta, and you will be asked to submit requisite documents such as academic records, work experience (if any), and other certificates.

 

Step 5: Appear for WAT and PI rounds according to the schedule that you are informed of. These are the important elements of final selection and weigh heavily in your composite score.
