GATE General Aptitude Exam Pattern
The General Aptitude section is common to all GATE 2027 test papers and carries 15 marks. It consists of 10 questions, with a combination of 1-mark and 2-mark questions. Candidates should understand the marking scheme and question distribution before starting their preparation.
Note: Negative marking applies to incorrect MCQ responses. There is no negative marking for MSQ and NAT questions. Candidates should refer to the official GATE 2027 information brochure for the complete marking scheme.
