AILET 2026 Registration has commenced today, i.e., August 7, 2025, by the National Law University Delhi. Candidates who have been waiting for the commencement of the registration process will be able to register through the NLU official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. AILET 2026 Exam is scheduled for December 14, 2025, by the National Law University Delhi. The last date to fill out the AILET 2026 Registration form is November 10, 2025.

AILET 2026 Registration Process

Candidates applying for AILET 2026 must pass several stages to complete their registration. The AILET 2026 Registration Process comprises eligibility criteria, a registration form, required documents, and a registration fee that a candidate must fulfil to complete their registration. The detailed information on each stage is stated below for the convenience of candidates.

 

Eligibility Criteria

The first stage that the participating candidate must pass is to possess all the required eligibility criteria for AILET 2026. Only candidates who meet all the required criteria can proceed with registration.

 

The list of AILET 2026 Eligibility Criteria that a candidate must possess is as follows:

AILET 2026 5-year LLB

  • Candidates who have passed or are appearing for their 10+2 or equivalent examinations from a recognised board are eligible for AILET 2026.
  • The candidates must have passed their 10+2 exams with the required minimum percentage of marks. For the General Category, the candidate must obtain at least 45% of the aggregate marks in their 10+2 exams, whereas for the SC/ST/PwD Category, the candidate must have scored at least 40% of the aggregate marks.
  • There is no age limit.

AILET 2026 LLM

  • Candidates who have passed or are appearing for their final year exams of the 3-year or 5-year LLB program are eligible for AILET 2026.
  • The candidates must have passed their LLB with the required minimum percentage of marks. For the General Category, the candidate must obtain at least 50% of the aggregate marks in the final year exams. For the SC/ST/PwD Category, the candidate must have scored at least 45% of the aggregate marks.
  • There is no age limit.

 

Registration

The candidate who meets all the eligibility criteria can register themselves. To complete their registration, the candidate has to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • The candidate must visit the official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
  • Next, the candidate has to click on the link named ‘AILET 2026 Registration’.
  • Then, the candidate is requested to create their login credentials for future use by registering themselves.
  • After that, candidate has to register themselves for the exam in which they want to appear.
  • Now, the candidate has to fill out the registration form and then make the registration fee payment.
  • Submit and download the AILET confirmation slip for future reference.

 

Documents Required

Candidates must upload specific documents for verification when completing the registration form. The required documents are:

  • Valid ID (Aadhar Card/PAN Card/Driving License/Passport)
  • Passport-size Photographs
  • Scanned Signature
  • Class 10th mark sheet
  • Class 12th or equivalent mark sheet
  • 3-year or 5-year LLB Degree (if applicable)
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable)

 

Registration Fee

While filling out the form, the candidates are asked to make a payment for the AILET 2026 Registration Fee. The AILET 2026 Registration Fee Structure is as follows.
