Ashoka University - Need-Based Financial Aid

Ashoka University’s Need-Based Financial Aid is designed to bridge the gulf between the cost of the program and the financial capacity of the candidate or their family/guardian. Ashoka University has joined hands with several institutions that extend educational loans to students, supplementing their need-based financial aid.

Ashoka University - Need-Based Financial Aid Guidelines

The financial aid form is made accessible once in each round for a duration of one week. Candidates have a one-time opportunity to submit the financial aid form, and requests made post-receiving an offer of admission will not be entertained. Candidates need to properly plan and equip themselves with the necessary documents within the short interval between the announcement of their shortlisting status and the opening of the Financial Aid form to avoid wasting precious time. Documents can be submitted in PDF/JPG format with sizes under 2MB and a minimum resolution of 200 DPI.

In addition to the available need-based financial aid, Ashoka University renders 25 scholarships, wherein five recipients receive a 100% waiver on Tuition and Residence, and the remaining twenty receive a 100% waiver on Tuition Fee. For availing this scholarship, a candidate's Annual Family income must not surpass INR 40,00,000 (pre-tax). To ensure the continuity of the scholarship to the subsequent academic year, the candidate must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 each semester.

Ashoka University - Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

Ashoka University extends its Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship to students who achieve specific academic cut-offs based on their Class XII Board Marks or scores on National Entrance Tests.

Ashoka University - Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships Application Process

Candidates meeting the aforementioned eligibility criteria are invited to apply for a Merit Scholarship. The application form is accessible for five days, and candidates are required to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP) form, along with the most recent Income Tax Return of their parents/guardians. Following an assessment of the family income and quality of the SOP, the scholarship committee shortlists candidates eligible for the scholarship.
