The Bachelor of Technology is a popular course that focuses on providing candidates with technological and analytical skills. Telangana BTech Admission Eligibility Criteria

The candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria, which are set by the university. The eligibility criteria for most colleges are similar, but they can be changed based on the minimum mark requirements, eligibility, and interview process. The basic eligibility criteria that the candidates need to fulfill are given below:

  • The candidates need to complete their 12th standard with compulsory subjects as Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry from a recognized board.
  • Along with this, the candidates need to score at least 50% to 70% in their 12th standard.
  • The candidates, apart from it, need to appear and qualify for the entrance examinations, be it national level or conducted by the university itself.

Telangana BTech Admission Process

To enroll in the course, the candidates need to appear for the exam and register for the entrance exam. The candidates need to follow a simple admission procedure. The admission process for the Tamil Nadu BTech Admission in IIT Madras is given below:

 

Application Process

Before applying to IIT Bhubaneswar, the candidates are required to register for the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams.

 

Step 1: The candidates are required to start by visiting the official website of the JEE Main NTA.

 

Step 2: The candidates need to register themselves by providing their email ID and mobile number. The candidates will get the login credentials in their email ID.

 

Step 3: The candidates now have to log in and fill out the application form by entering the required details, including personal and educational details.

 

Step 4: Now, the candidates need to upload the scanned copy of the documents.

 

Step 5: After successfully uploading the documents, the candidates now have to pay the application fees for the exam.

Can I opt to take admission in the top institutions through direct entry, without giving any exam?

No, if the candidate is opting to enroll in the top engineering institutions of the country, such as IIT Hyderabad and NIT Warangal, the candidates must apply and appear for the entrance examinations, such as JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The reputed and recognized institutions of the country do not offer any facility to get admission in the BTech course through direct entry.

Is there any difference between the TS ECET and TS EAMCET entrance exams?

Yes, both TS ECET and TS EAMCET are different entrance examinations. TS ECET examination is for candidates who want to enroll in the BTech course from the second or third year at any college in the state of Telangana. However, the candidates who want to start from the first year BTech course need to enroll in the TS EAMCET entrance examination.

What is the minimum age to be eligible to apply for the TS EAMCET entrance examinations?

The candidates who have completed their 12th standard from a recognized board. The minimum age for the candidates to enroll in the exam is 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year. The upper age limit is 22 years for general candidates and 25 years for SC/ST candidates.
