UP BSc Nursing Admission Process

B.Sc Nursing admission in Uttar Pradesh is based on the UP CNET, which is conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU). There are national and state-level entrance exams, such as CUET UG, NEET, and AIIMS Paramedical Exams, which students need to pass to get admission into the course. Aspirants will have to qualify for the cut-off and appear for the counselling process.

Usually, there are several steps in the admission process. Students first apply online for the exam. Then, they complete the application form with personal and academic information. Students will have to appear for the entrance, and after that, the conducting body will release its merit list. Subsequently, qualified students participate in an online counselling process. In counselling, students make their choice of colleges as their rank. Lastly, students undergo document verification and pay the admission fee to secure their seat in the college of their choice.

UP BSc Nursing Admission Process 2025

The interested students are required to go through the online registration process along with the entrance exam to get admission into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Here is the admission process of UP CNET:

• Step 1: Students need to go to the official website of ABVMU and submit their UP CNET application form online. All information should be accurate, and documents uploaded as needed.
• Step 2: Students are required to pay the application fee online. The application fee for the General/OBC category is INR 3,000, and for the SC/ST category is INR 2,000.
• Step 3: Once registered successfully, students can download the admit card from the official website.
• Step 4: Students will have to appear for the UP CNET entrance exam on the given date.
• Step 5: The results will be declared by ABVMU online. Students may view their marks and download the scorecard.
• Step 6: The selected students have to get registered for online counselling. They enter their college preferences and set their choices.
