NIFT 2025: Counselling, Seat Allotment, Cutoff and More

NIFT 2025 Counselling started on June 24, 2025. Shortlisted candidates must register on the official website, nift.admissions.nic.in before July 1, 2025. There will be a total of three rounds of counselling. The seat allotment results for round 1 has been announced on July 7, 2025. NIFT 2025 Seat Allotments for rounds 2, 3, and 4 (Spot Round) will be released on July 18, July 28, and August 8, 2025, respectively. NTA released the final results of stage 2 of NIFT 2025 on June 22, 2025. Candidates could download their scorecards from the NIFT website using their application number and date of birth.

The final results of NIFT 2025 were prepared using the results of the written examinations and the GD/PI rounds. As per the NIFT 2025 Exam Pattern written examination had two papers: the general ability test (GAT) and the creative ability test (CAT).

NIFT 2025 was organised by NTA in two shifts on February 9, 2025. Candidates reported the GAT paper was moderately to difficult, and the English section was easiest, followed by the general knowledge and Maths sections.

NIFT 2025 Registration

NIFT 2025 Registration window was active from November 22, 2025, to January 6, 2025. The entire process was conducted online. Following some simple steps below, candidates could fill out the registration form:

Step 2: On the homepage, click on “Admissions.”

Step 3: From the registration portal, click on “New Application Portal” to register as a new user.

NIFT 2025: Exam Pattern

NIFT 2025 Admit Card

NIFT 2025 Stage 2 Admit Card was released on June 2, 2025. Candidates needed to appear in the Situation test, Studio test, and Personal Interview round in stage 2. NIFT 2025 Answer Key

NIFT 2025 Answer key on February 15, 2025. Candidates were allowed to raise challenges to the answer key till February 17, 2025, by paying a non-refundable fee of INR 200 per objection. The final answer key is released if the raised objections are considered valid. Here is how the NIFT 2025 answer key can be downloaded:

Step 2: Click on the download answer link.

Step 3: On the next window, enter the examination roll number, program applied to, date of birth, and question booklet number.

NIFT 2025 Result

NIFT 2025 Result (final result) was released online on June 22, 2025. Candidates were allowed to download the results from the official website. All the shortlisted candidates were allowed to participate in the counselling process. Here is how NIFTEE 2025 results can be checked:

Step 2: Log in with appropriate credentials.

Step 3: Enter the application number and date of birth when prompted and click submit.

Step 4: Results will be declared as “Shortlisted” or “Not shortlisted for the situation test.”

NIFT 2025 Cut-off

NIFT 2025 cut-offs are released after seat allotment is made. The cut-offs are declared for each category and are the minimum marks candidates must obtain to proceed to the next round of admissions. The NIFTEE 2025 cut-offs have not been released, but obtaining a score of 75 out of 100 is considered good. Cut-offs for admission to NIFT are decided on several factors:

NIFT 2025 Counselling Process (June 24 to July 1)

NIFT 2025 counselling process has begun. The process will conclude on July 1, 2025. The Round 1 seat allotment has also been released on the official website. NIFT administers the counselling process for admissions to its 19 campuses. Candidates shortlisted based on their final NIFT scores are eligible to participate in the counselling rounds. The process includes multiple rounds of seat allotment, followed by a SPOT round to fill any remaining vacant seats. SPOT round seats will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Visit the official NIFT counselling portal at nift.ac.in/admission.
• Register online for the counselling process.
• Fill in and lock choices (program + campus) in order of preference.
• Wait for seat allotment based on merit rank and preferences.
