JEE Main Exam Dates 2026

JEE Main 2026 Exam Time
JEE Main Exam 2026 consists of two shifts. One shift will be between 9 AM and 12 PM, and the second shift will be between 3 PM and 6 PM. Candidates are allowed to take the entry 30 minutes before the exam starts, as in these 30 minutes, the invigilators will provide exam instructions.
JEE Main Registration 2026 Dates
JEE Main Registration 2026 for Session 1 is expected to begin in November 2025. The window is likely to be active till the last week of December or the first week of January 2026. For Session 2, the Registration will commence in February and end by March 2026. Candidates will be able to fill the application forms at jeemain.nta.nic.in by entering personal information, academic qualification details, email ID, contact number and category details. The Registration will be confirmed after paying an exam fee of INR 1000 (for Unreserved Category), INR 800 (for OBC candidates) and INR 500 (for SC).
JEE Main Application Form Correction Dates
The NTA permits candidates to make corrections to their application forms even after they have been submitted. The application form correction window opens after the registration ends, and it remains open for two or three days. For Session 1 of the JEE Exam 2026, the form correction window is expected to open by the second week of January 2026.
JEE Main City Intimation Slip 2026
NTA releases the city intimation slip before the publication of JEE Main Admit Card 2026. Through this slip, candidates are informed about their allotted JEE Main Exam Centre and its location. It will be available at jeemain.nta.nic.in and expected to be released by the second week of January 2026 for Session 1.
JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Dates
JEE Main Admit Card 2026 for Session 1 will be published by the third week of January 2026. For Session 2, candidates can expect it in March 2026. They must download it from the official website of NTA and carry it to the exam centre. Along with the hall ticket, applicants should bring a valid photo ID proof such as an Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Voter ID.
JEE Main Answer Key 2026 Dates
Once the JEE Main Exam is over, NTA will release provisional answer keys at jeemain.nta.nic.in. With its release, candidates can match their response paper with JEE Main Answer Key 2026 to estimate their total scores. In case of any discrepancies, candidates are allowed to challenge any questions with supporting materials. In addition, they must pay a fee of INR 200 for each question they challenge. For Session 1, the JEE Main Answer Key is expected to be released after two to three days of the exam date.
