JEE Main Photograph & Signature Correction Guidelines

NTA allows candidates to correct applicants' signatures and photographs. Applicants will not be able to change their photographs later. If there is any mistake, then candidates will have to correct it during the correction window. JEE Main Application Process includes a correction window to update the mismatched photo and signature.

JEE Main Photo Size Guidelines 2027

JEE Main 2027 applicants must upload a passport-size photo along with a live photo capture. Here are the JEE Main Photo Size Guidelines 2027:

• The photograph should have been taken recently.
• The applicant’s face should be clearly visible in the coloured photo.
• The applicant’s face must cover at least 80% of the photo.
• Both ears should be clearly visible.
• The photo background should be plain & white.
• Only JPEG and JPG formats are supported.
• Minimum file size is 10 kb, and maximum file size is 200 kb for the photograph.
• The dimensions of the photo are 3.5 cm X 4.5 cm.

Note: Candidate’s photo background should not be any other colour than white. Brightened, filtered, polaroids, and collage photos are banned. It may lead to the rejection of photographs.

Candidates must ensure they are following the JEE Main Photo Size Guidelines to upload a photo. Applicants can’t upload any photographs or images they want. The uploaded photograph must follow the guidelines set by NTA. Applicants can use online tools like Adobe and Canva to resize their photos. JEE Main Signature Guidelines 2027

The candidate’s signature needs to follow the rules and guidelines. Here are the JEE Main signature guidelines for 2027:

• The signature should be on white paper.
• Candidates will have to use a black or blue ballpoint pen.
• Signature must be legible, clear, and neat.
• Minimum file size = 10 kb
• Maximum file size = 100 kb
• The file name should be “Signature” only.

Note: Any file that does not comply with the above-mentioned specifications will not be accepted.
