What after JEE Mains Result 2026?

Once JEE Mains Results 2026 are declared, the qualified candidates can move ahead to the admissions process at NITs, IITs, GFTIs, and IITs. The top 2,50,000 who clear the qualifying cut-off will be eligible to sit for the JEE Advanced 2026. Students failing to qualify for JEE Advanced can take direct admission to IIITs, NITs and GFTIs as per their scores.

The seats will be allocated through JoSAA Counselling 2026. Counselling for JEE Main 2026 will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority, or in short JoSAA. Total 6 counselling rounds will be conducted by JoSAA. Opening and closing ranks after every round will also be published.
