What is TNEA 2026 Random Number?

The TNEA 2026 random number is a 10-digit number given to every registered candidate during the counselling process. It is used when two or more students have the same cutoff marks, subject marks, and date of birth. In such cases, the candidate with the higher random number gets a better rank. • Persons with a differing ability are expected to submit a Medical Certificate done by a Board of three medical doctors
• Prominent sportspersons need to forward all sporting certificates of achievement, as well as the required form.

TNEA 2026 Selection Criteria

The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the prescribed subjects, which will be normalised to a cumulative aggregate of 200 marks (Mathematics: 100, Physics: 50, Chemistry: 50) in the entrance examination. Candidates' scores obtained through the TNEA 2026 application form will be normalised, and a merit list will be declared based on such normalised scores. The TNEA 2026 selection process is based on a merit list prepared using Class 12 marks.
