JAC Chandigarh 2025 Counselling: The Joint Admission Committee, Chandigarh, has initiated the Spot Round 2 Registration and Choice Filling today, August 21, 2025. Only registered candidates can register for Spot Round 2 and submit their preferences of course and college through the official website at jacchd.admissions.nic.in. Candidates will be required to login using their JEE Main Application Number and Password to register for spot round 2. The Seat Allotment Result for JAC Chandigarh 2025 Spot Round 2 will be released on August 23, 2025. The physical reporting to allotted colleges must be done by August 25, 2025.

What is JAC Chandigarh 2025 Admissions?

JAC or Joint Admission Committee conducts admissions to BE, BArch, Integrated BE (Chemical), MBA courses offered by the listed below institutes in Chandigarh based on JEE Main scores and pass percentage secured in Class XII or equivalent examination. The admission process is popularly known as JAC Chandigarh admissions. Since admissions are based on All India Ranks of JEE Main 2025, there is no entrance exam. JAC Chandigarh Admissions 2025 Eligibility

The eligibility for JAC Chandigarh 2025 counselling is as follows:

Academic Qualifications:

• Candidates must have a valid JEE Main 2025 score.
• Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th/ equivalent examination in 2022, 2023, or those who are appearing in Class 12th/ equivalent examination in 2025, are eligible.
• Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to BE/BArch/Integrated BE (Chemical) - MBA courses under JAC-2025 shall be as under:

Candidates have to apply for the JAC Chandigarh counselling special round online on the official website. The steps to apply are given below:

Step 1: Authentication Eligible candidates shall authenticate themselves by providing the following four parameters:

• JEE Main 2025 Application No.
• Candidate’s Name
• Mother’s Name
• Date of Birth

After successful authentication, the candidate can create his/ her login credentials [JEE Main Application No. shall be the login id, and the candidate should create a password] and provide contact information (i.e., email ID and Mobile number).

Step 2: Fill out the online form 

All candidates are required to fill out the Online Registration Form. During Form filling, candidates are required to furnish the following information and upload the relevant documents:

• Category (General, General-EWS, BC, SC, ST)
• Sub-category (ies) as appearing on the registration form
• Total marks obtained in various subjects of the qualifying examination (i.e. 10+2 examination)
• Place of the school from where the candidate has appeared for the qualifying examination (Chandigarh/ Outside Chandigarh).

Step 3: Pay the application fee 

After successful submission of the registration form, the candidates are required to pay a one-time Registration Fee (Non-Refundable) through Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet banking / e-Challan / UPI. the application fee as follows:

JAC Chandigarh 2025 Counselling Choice Filling Process 

All the JAC Chandigarh registered candidates are required to submit their choices of Institute and Branch in order of their preference. Candidates are required to submit a single set of combined choices for Engineering & Architecture streams if they are eligible for both streams. The choice filling is OPTIONAL for those candidates who are eligible only for Architecture as per JEE (Main)-2025. Only one choice of Architecture in CCA shall be considered automatically after successful registration.

Candidates can fill in as many numbers of choices in the order of preference, as they wish to, from the list of available choices. Also, candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change or re-order their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times until they lock their final set of choices.

Choice Locking & Printing of Locked Choices: Candidates MUST lock their choices only after they have finalized them, but in any case, before the last date & time. The locking of choices involves a few steps after the LOCK button is clicked. This includes re-entering the password and confirming the locking. The candidate should ensure that he has followed all the steps carefully to complete the locking procedure. If a candidate fails to lock the choices by the last date and time explicitly, the last saved choices will be automatically locked after the deadline. The candidate can login again to view the locked choices. However, the locked choices cannot be modified or altered.

JAC Chandigarh 2025 Seat Allotment

Seat allotment and acceptance: All the choices submitted by candidates during JAC Chandigarh Counselling shall be processed centrally and the seat allotment results will be available on the website. The successfully allotted candidates are required to pay the seat acceptance fee and submit the willingness for upgradation for the subsequent rounds, failing which the allotted seat will automatically be cancelled and the candidate will not be considered for subsequent rounds except for Special and Spot Round of Counselling.

Physical reporting: Candidates are not required to go for Physical reporting after seat allotment. Payment of fee using any one of the modes (Debit Card/Credit Card/ Internet banking/UPI/e-Challan) and online submission of willingness for the subsequent rounds will be treated as reporting against the allotted seat. Such candidates are required to report at the allotted institute after the third Round of Counselling.
