KEAM 2026 is the Kerala state-level admission process conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) for professional undergraduate courses. The KEAM entrance exam is held for Engineering and BPharm admissions, while admission to Architecture, Medical, and other allied courses is done through KEAM counselling using scores from exams such as NATA and NEET. The exam is held in computer-based mode and tests candidates on subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Based on the scores, candidates are offered admission to various colleges across the state through a centralised counselling process. Find more details in the table presented below:

KEAM Rank List 2026

The KEAM 2026 rank list will be released after candidates submit their Class 12 or equivalent marks. CEE prepares separate rank lists for different courses, such as Engineering, BPharm, Architecture, Medical and Medical Allied courses, and Ayurveda.

KEAM 2026 Engineering Rank List

For Engineering admission, the KEAM rank list is prepared by giving equal weightage to the KEAM entrance exam score and Class 12 marks. The final engineering rank is based on:

  • 50% weightage to the normalised KEAM 2026 entrance exam score
  • 50% weightage to the standardised Class 12 marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry taken together

If a candidate has not studied Chemistry, marks in the following subjects will be considered in this order: Computer Science, Biotechnology, and Biology.

KEAM 2026 BPharm Rank List

The KEAM 2026 BPharm rank list is prepared using index marks. For this, CEE uses the candidate’s Physics and Chemistry scores from the KEAM entrance exam. The BPharm index mark is calculated as follows:

  • The chemistry score is multiplied by 2.25, and this is added to the Physics score
  • The total is then multiplied by 2/3
  • After this, the score is normalised to prepare the final BPharm rank list. The maximum index score is 300.

KEAM 2026 Medical and Allied Rank List

For admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, and BUMS courses, candidates must qualify for NEET UG 2026. Only those candidates who meet the required NEET percentile will be included in the KEAM rank list for these courses. The minimum percentile required is:

  • General category: 50th percentile
  • SC / ST / SEBC category: 40th percentile
  • PwD category (General): 45th percentile
  • PwD category (SC / ST / SEBC): 40th percentile

KEAM 2026 Architecture Rank List

For Architecture admission, the rank list is prepared by giving equal weightage to NATA score and marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The final Architecture rank list is prepared as per the guidelines of the Council of Architecture.

KEAM Counselling 2026

After the KEAM results are announced, candidates whose names appear on the CEE rank list can participate in the KEAM counselling process. KEAM counselling is conducted in three sessions, with one mop-up round. KEAM counselling assigns seats to candidates based on their preferences and the availability of seats in a specific institution and course. KEAM 2026 counselling is referred to as the consolidated admission process. The KEAM Counselling Process 2026 involves:

  • KEAM 2026 Option Registration
  • Trial/provisional allotment
  • Final KEAM seat allotment
  • Admission fees are paid at the designated colleges, and documents are verified.

The Single Window System (SWS) will be used for the Centralised Allotment Process to allocate courses and colleges in the State's Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy/Medical streams. This is an 'Allotments Through Online Submission of Options' mechanism. The alternatives include a candidate's willingness to join a course-college combination selected based on his or her aspirations and desires after qualifying with a rank in the KEAM-2026 rank lists.

KEAM Cutoff 2026

The KEAM cutoff is the minimum rank applicants must achieve to be considered for admission to Kerala's participating colleges. Following each round of Seat Allotment, the KEAM 2026 Cutoff, which represents the final ranks applicants must achieve to be admitted, will be made public. Various factors are responsible for determining the KEAM cut-off 2026, which are mentioned below.

  • Difficulty level of the KEAM entrance exam.
  • Availability of seats for the course.
  • The total number of applicants who appeared for the examination.
  • Total number of students who qualified for the examination.

KEAM Result 2026

The conducting body releases the KEAM 2026 Results through the official website. The KEAM Result 2026 was announced on May 12, 2026. Once the result is out, candidates can check their percentile scores and total marks. Those candidates who qualify for the examination will be eligible to appear in the counselling session.
